Matt Brady now know the team his Dukes will open with this season, and it includes a name familiar to basketball fans in the Valley.

Brady's debut as the men's basketball coach at James Madison will come on November 17 against Davidson in the first round of the Preseason NIT. The game will be played at the University of Oklahoma.

Davidson is coming off an Elite Eight appearance, in the 2008 NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats are led by junior guard Stephen Curry, son of former NBA player, and Fort Defiance High School star, Dell Curry.

The game will mark JMU's second appearance in the Preseason NIT. The Dukes lost to Georgia Tech in 1991.
