Programs are probably going to be a popular item at Bridgewater football games this year.

At his annual media luncheon Wednesday, head coach Mike Clark called it "a new day" for his program. Clark has just one returning starter on either side of the ball, and the coach says most spots in the starting lineup are still up for grabs.

However, Clark also said that he keeps reminding his Eagles, who have been picked to finish third in the ODAC this fall, that just because they're young doesn't mean they can't be good.

"If they weren't talented kids, it would be tougher," says Clark. "But when you see kids that can run, and you see kids that got some twitch speed. We've got some young defensive linemen that, even after two or three practices, you're saying, 'This kid's pretty good.' That makes it easier."
