It sounds like Moorefield alum Reed Williams is ready to go for West Virginia.

Mountaineer coach Bill Stewart says he expects the senior to be his starting middle linebacker on Saturday against Villanova.

Williams sat out spring ball, and was limited for most of camp because of off-season surgery on his shoulder. Earlier this month, Williams indicated he might not be ready for Saturday's opener.

Williams, who was named defensive MVP of West Virginia's Orange Bowl victory last January, was cleared for full contact drills last week.
