The Bridgewater Eagles have an extra week to figure out how to snap their current four-game losing streak.

The Eagles are off this week. They practiced Tuesday, and will again on Thursday and Friday, then take a long weekend off before getting ready for Guilford.

Head coach Mike Clark says his team can still win its last five games.

"A lot of times I get a backhanded compliment when people tell me, 'Oh next year this team will be really good.' And what I told our kids was, next year starts today," says Clark. "Today's Tuesday. We're going to work. Let's take the last half of this season and make it the start of next year, and why not choose to be good now?"
