Freshmen Will Soon Learn of West Virginia/Marshall Rivalry
Charleston, W.Va. (AP) A group of freshmen getting significant playing time will be introduced to the Capital Classic when Marshall and West Virginia meet on Wednesday night at the Charleston Civic Center.

A group of freshmen getting significant playing time will be introduced to the Capital Classic when Marshall and West Virginia meet on Wednesday night at the Charleston Civic Center.
Darryl Bryant and Devin Ebanks have combined for 22 starts so far this season for West Virginia (11-4), while Kevin Jones has averaged 17 minutes off the bench. Bryant is the team's third-leading scorer at ten points per game and leads the team in assists.
Marshall (8-7) also is getting solid minutes from three freshmen.
Dago Pena scored a career-high 14 points in an eight-point win Saturday over East Carolina. Pena, Damier Pitts and Shaquille Johnson combined for 82 minutes in the contest. Pitts is Marshall's second-leading scorer at nearly 11 points per game.
