The Los Angeles Angels' Thursday night game has been postponed following the death of rookie pitcher Nick Adenhart.

Manager Mike Scioscia says the team will get together, however.

The 22-year-old Adenhart of Hagerstown, Maryland was a passenger in a car that police say was struck by a motorist who ran a red light. Two other people in the car also died and another was injured. Adenhart had started for Los Angeles just a few hours earlier.

The Angels had been scheduled to play Oakland Thursday night.
