John Mincone's stay at James Madison wasn't very long. Time will tell if his stay with the Chicago Cubs will be any longer.

The Cubs drafted Mincone, a left-handed pitcher who transferred to Suffolk County Community College, in the 11th Round of the MLB Amateur Draft, No. 350 overall.

Mincone played at JMU as a freshman in 2008. He went 1-3, with an 8.86 ERA in 11 appearances, but battled injuries all season.

Mincone went 6-1, with a 0.92 ERA this past season at Suffolk County.
