The nominees for the Valley League Play of the Week for June 29-July 5:
- From Tuesday, June 30: Woodstock pitcher Heath Hatfield jumps over a broken bat and recovers to throw out Harrisonburg's Nathan Weglarz at first.
- From Friday, July 3: Waynesboro second baseman Cory Kovanda makes a diving backhanded play to start a 4-6-3 double play.
- From Saturday, July 4: Harrisonburg shortstop Victor Croglio dives to his right, then throws from his knees to get the out at first.
