Two special teams regulars from last season have re-signed with the Redskins. They're safety Todd Franz and linebacker Lemar Marshall.
Franz led the Redskins with 21 special teams tackles and started
two games at safety, and Marshall made 14 special teams tackles and
got a half-sack against the New York Giants in December.
The Redskins also have learned that restricted free agent
cornerback Jerametrius Butler will stay with the St. Louis Rams.
The Redskins signed Butler to a six-year, 15 (m) million dollar
offer sheet last week, but the Rams announced today that they had
matched the offer and will retain Butler's rights.
