Villanova football coach Andy Talley says he's not shying away from talking to his team about the implications of its game at top-ranked Richmond Saturday.
The Wildcats (7-1, 4-1 Colonial Athletic Association) need to win to stay in the running for the league title, and would significantly boost their credentials for home games in the postseason if they can knock off the defending Football Championship Subdivision champs.
Richmond is unbeaten and has won 17 in a row. The Spiders see the game as a chance to clinch a share of the CAA title, and to avenge a 26-20 loss to the Wildcats last season.
