Virginia Tech hopes to stay on track to reach ten victories for the sixth season in a row when the No. 16 Hokies play host to struggling North Carolina State Saturday.
The Hokies (7-3, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) have rallied with impressive back-to-back victories since their hopes of a third straight conference title were dashed.
The game will also be the last at home for 21 seniors, which means the Wolfpack (4-6, 1-5) will likely be greeted by a fired-up team looking to send the class out with a victory.
With Tyrod Taylor and tailback Ryan Williams leading the offense, NC State could be hard-pressed to stop the Hokies. The Wolfpack has allowed its last seven opponents to score at least 30 points, and four of the last five have scored at least 43.
