The Cleveland Cavaliers, mastering the art of
doing just enough to win, held off Washington 98-to-92 victory to
take a 3-to-0 lead in their first-round series.
LeBron James had his best game of the series with 30 points,
nine assists and six rebounds for the Cavaliers, who are one game
away from sweeping a playoff series for the first time in franchise
history. Zydrunas Ilgauskas (zih-DROO'-nuhs ihl-GOWS'-kuhs) added
24 points and eight rebounds.
After rallying from a 17-point deficit to tie, the Wizards made
just six of 20 shots in the fourth quarter. Antawn Jamison scored a
career playoff-high 38 and grabbed eleven rebounds for the Wizards.
Washington hosts Game Four on Monday.
