Lee's Scott Signs With Marshall

A.J. Scott is officially bound for Marshall.

R.E. Lee football coach David Tibbs confirmed Wednesday morning that Scott, a six-foot-five-inch, 275-pound offensive lineman, has signed his binding National Letter of Intent with the Thundering Herd.

Wednesday is National Signing Day, the first day a high school senior can sign his letter of intent with a college football program.

Scott was scheduled to have a signing ceremony at Lee on Wednesday afternoon. But that's been postponed to Thursday because of weather, Tibbs said.

Scott first verbally committed to Marshall last summer.
