For the second season, water taxis operated by Potomac Riverboat Co. will take baseball fans from Alexandria, Virginia to Nationals Park.
Willem Polak, company owner, says the 35- to 40-minute ride will get fans within about 100 yards of the stadium. The boat leaves 20 minutes after the last pitch of a game.
This year, the boat rides will be available for at least 50 games, including Opening Day on April 5. Tickets are $12 one way, or $20 round trip. Hot dogs, popcorn, soda and beer will be sold on the boat.
