Fort Falls to Defending Champs in AA Baseball Semifinals

Fort Defiance's first state baseball tournament since 1989 came to an abrupt end Friday afternoon.

The Indians lost 10-0 to the defending AA state champions, Poquoson, in Friday's AA semifinal at Calfee Park in Pulaski.

Poquoson senior Adam Posey, who will pitch at Eastern Mennonite University next season, threw a complete-game shutout for the Islanders.

They advance to face Potomac Falls in Saturday's AA championship game.
