Former Turner Ashby and Virginia Tech softball standout Misty Hall is continuing her softball career at the pro level.
Hall is a member of the U.S. Professional All-Stars, which begins play this weekend at the University of Maryland.
Among the other players listed on the All-Stars roster are Hall's former Virginia Tech teammate Angela Tincher, the 2008 college player of the year; and 2010 U.S. national team members Katie Cochran and Ashley Charters.
Hall graduated from Turner Ashby in 2006 as the school's all-time leader in home runs, with 35. She was named AA all-state three times as a catcher.
After a season at Louisburg College, she played two seasons at Virginia Tech (2008 and 2010). Playing mostly shortstop, Hall was named second-team All-ACC as a senior, after hitting .273 with 11 homers and a team-best 34 RBI.
