James Madison has rewarded women's lacrosse coach Shelley Klaes-Bawcombe for her record-breaking 2010 season.
The school announced a contract extension through 2015 for Klaes-Bawcombe Monday.
Klaes-Bawcombe guided the Dukes to a school-record 17 wins this past season, her fourth at JMU. Her team went unbeaten in CAA to capture the conference title, and reached the NCAA quarterfinals.
She was also named CAA coach of the year.
The school also announced contract extensions through 2014 for women's soccer coach Dave Lombardo, cross country coach Dave Rinker, and director of track and field and cross country Bill Walton.
