New Luray Little League Park Site of Tournament of Champions

A new $800,000 little league park in Luray saw it's first action Friday.

The Ralph H. Dean Recreation Park is the site for the nine and ten year old Invitational Tournament of State Champions, a girls softball tournament.

Softball state champions from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia, Tennessee and Virginia are in the Valley for the tournament.

The team from Virginia happens to be out of Bridgewater.

The tournament championship game is Monday night.
