Charles Cooke has been released from his scholarship by the JMU men's basketball program.
Athletic department officials confirmed Cooke's release to WHSV Sports this afternoon.
Cooke was a Third Team All-CAA selection this past season. The sophomore was JMU's second leading scorer in terms of points per game, averaging 14.3 per contest.
Cooke joins fellow starter Taylor Bessick and reserve guard Tom Rivard in leaving the program this offseason.
