BALTIMORE (WHSV) -- With the NFL back in the conversation, plenty of college football players are thinking about a possible future in the league, including one JMU senior who is already getting noticed.
Dean Marlowe is entering his final year at JMU and the senior safety is getting recognized before the season begins.
Marlowe earned Pre-season All-America honors for the second straight year. He was also the only member of the Dukes named to the all-CAA team at the conference's media day Wednesday.
Marlowe spoke with WHSV Sports Director David DeGuzman at the home of the Baltimore Ravens and was asked if the setting of the interview sparked his imagination for a career in the NFL.
"It's always been my dream since I was a little kid. Hopefully I have a great season and I keep doing what I'm doing, I'll be fine,” Marlowe said.
“I set a perfect standpoint for what I want to do. But I really am just focused on having a great season with a whole new staff and all my teammates and just us winning really."
