Fort Rebuilding, But Seeking Another Playoff Run

FORT DEFIANCE, Va. – It has now been two straight seasons with trips to the postseason for Dan Rolfe and Fort Defiance, but in 2013 the Indians will be young, making a third consecutive playoff appearance a tall task for an inexperienced bunch.

Fort Defiance will return just four starters on each side of the ball, and as many as eight underclassmen could earn starting jobs. While inexperience will be the biggest challenge for the Indians, leadership will be Fort's biggest strength.

On offense, Fort Defiance will stick with an I-Pro formation, while defensively, they'll stay with a 4-3. The Indians will be rebuilding in some spots, but after sharing a Valley District title last season and learning how to close out tight games, Fort Defiance will look to make some noise in 2013.
