James Madison freshman Kelly Kerrigan (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown East) had a goal and an assist to help lead the Dukes' women's soccer team (2-1-0) to a 2-0 win over Temple (0-2-1) in Sunday's second round of the JMU/Fairfield Inn by Marriott Invitational Tournament at University Park..

In the day's first game, Georgetown (4-0-0) remained unbeaten with a 2-1 win over previously undefeated Hofstra (2-1-0).

The JMU-Temple game was scoreless for 70 minutes until the Dukes knocked in goals in the 71st and 73rd minutes.

Kerrigan took a pass from redshirt senior Kelly Germain (McLean, Va./Langley) and sent a shot from just inside the 18 to the right corner of the goal at 70:34.
