HARRISONBURG, Va., Sept. 16, 2012 -- An overtime header by redshirt junior Taylor Rovito (Cary, N.C./Green Hope) lifted visiting Charlotte (5-3-1) to a 1-0 win over James Madison (2-6-0) in women's soccer Sunday afternoon at University Park.
Rovito headed the ball into the net at the far post off a corner kick from sophomore Amanda Jones (Mahwah, N.J./Saddle River Day). The winning goal came 4:21 into the 10-minute sudden-death overtime period.
