Wednesday afternoon, James Madison University announced its 2012 signing class of 14 players for Mickey Matthews' football team.

12 of the 14 players signed hail from Virginia or Maryland, including 8 from staying in their home state to play college football.

JMU begins the 2012 football season with two home games (Sept. 1 vs. St. Francis and Sept. 8 vs. Alcorn State) before playing West Virginia at FedEx Field September 15.
