According to one national Website, R.E. Lee junior guard Angela Mickens is one of the best high school basketball players in the country.

MIckens is No. 68 on ESPN.com's list of the top 100 college prospects in the Class of 2012.

MIckens has yet to pick her college destination. According to Lee head coach Jeremy Hartman, Mickens has more than 20 offers, including James Madison, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Hartman said Monday that new Virginia coach Joanne Boyle and Maryland coach Brenda Frese recently visited Mickens at school. Neither school has yet offered Mickens a scholarship.

ESPN.com grades Mickens as a four-star recruit, and a 93 (on a scale to 100). She ranks as the tenth-best point guard in her class.

Mickens was also named AA first-team all-state by the Associated Press Monday.
