RICHMOND (AP) -- The Washington Redskins are expecting less "MeAngelo" and more leadership from DeAngelo Hall.
With longtime captain London Fletcher retired, the Redskins need the 30-year-old cornerback to set the example for the young players on defense.
Over the years, the phrase "temperamental hothead" is just as likely to come to mind as "three-time Pro Bowl cornerback" when describing Hall. He's had nasty feuds with coaches, officials and opponents.
Hall told his teammates this spring that there are things he'd like to change about his past. As the Redskins opened training camp this week, he said the onus is on him to become a leader.
