ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -- Robert Griffin III is looking for a more "routine" Week 2.
The Washington Redskins quarterback had an eight-month buildup to Week 1, with much of the hype generated by his own commercial and television special.
There's only a one-week buildup to Week 2's game Sunday at Green Bay.
Griffin said Wednesday it's a "big load off everybody's shoulders" that he came out healthy in Monday's season-opening loss to Philadelphia. He said he "passed the hit test" and is ready to move on.
Griffin refused to use rustiness as an excuse for his uneven performance against the Eagles. He said he can always improve his mechanics, but he said players coming off injuries get extra scrutiny.
