WASHINGTON (WHSV) -- The Washington Redskins will play one Thursday night football game and twice on ESPN Monday Night Football next season.
The National Football League released the 2014 schedule Wednesday night, with the first game of the season matching up the Packers and the Seahawks.
The Redskins open up the 2014 season on the road against Houston in Week 1 before opening their home schedule against the Jacksonville Jaguars the following Sunday.
Washington hosts the New York Giants in a Thursday night primetime match-up that will be broadcast on CBS The V during Week 4. Then the Redskins will play Seattle at home in a Monday night contest. NFC East rival Dallas will host Washington in a Monday night game on October 27.
Washington will take their bye week during Week 10.

Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 7 at Texans, 1 p.m.
Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 14 vs. Jaguars, 1 p.m.
Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 21 at Eagles, 1 p.m.
Week 4: Thursday, Sept. 26 vs. Giants, 8:25 p.m.
Week 5: Monday, Oct. 6 vs. Seahawks, 8:30 p.m.
