FISHERSVILLE, Va. -- It was the best football season in Wilson Memorial's history. Now it's time for the Green Hornets to get past that, in a couple different ways.
Second year head coach Jeremiah Major hopes his squad will get past what they did last fall and realize their trip to the state semifinals in 2011, doesn't help in 2012. He's also hoping for the first time in school history, the Wilson Memorial will play for a state title, getting past last year's accomplishment.
Offensively, the Green Hornets will keep it simple, running less than ten different plays a game with the ball. Defensively they will be multiple, running out of the 40 and 50 formation.
Wilson will be young, but talented in 2012, leaving big expectations to follow up a successful 2011.
