RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 14, 2013 -- James Madison freshman Precious Hall (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay) has been named Colonial Athletic Association women's basketball Rookie of the Week for the week ending Jan. 13.
Hall averaged in double figures in scoring last week after contributing 11 points in a 68-65 win over Northeastern on Jan. 13 and scoring nine in a 48-46 loss to Drexel on Jan. 10.
She also handed out a game-high and career-high five assists in the Northeastern game.
Hall earned the honor for the second time this season. She was also named Rookie of the Week for the week ending Dec. 23.
JMU takes an 8-7 overall record and a 2-1 CAA record into a Jan. 17 home game against William and Mary.
