Jaguars Place Former JMU Star McGee on I.R.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed punt returner Scotty McGee on injured reserve and signed linebacker Jacob Cutrera to the 53-man roster.

McGee, a sixth-round draft pick from James Madison, broke a bone in his right shoulder in the final preseason game and was inactive for the first two games of the regular season. Receiver Mike Thomas handled punts in his absence.

Cutrera, one of three undrafted rookies to make Jacksonville's opening-day roster, played against Denver two weeks ago but was waived Saturday. He was brought back for depth in case linebacker Justin Durant (ankle) can't play Sunday against Philadelphia.

The Jaguars also signed receiver Lance Long to the practice squad.
