Dukes Fall in OT

Wil Kamin kicked a 20-yard field goal on the first series of overtime to lead Richmond past James Madison 13-10 in Colonial Athletic Association play Saturday.

The Spiders (5-4, 3-3) kept James Madison off the scoreboard on its first overtime possession thanks to a five-yard delay-of-game penalty and a 14-yard sack by Tyler Sullivan. The Dukes failed to convert a fourth-and-30 from the Richmond 45-yard line.

Jamal Sullivan gave the Dukes (4-5, 1-5) a 7-0 lead in the first quarter after a 12-yard touchdown run.

Richmond tied the score 7-7 with a 41-yard touchdown pass from John Laub to Tre Gray midway through the second quarter.

Dixon Wright kicked a 21-yard field goal to give James Madison a 10-7 halftime lead.

Kamin booted an 18-yard field goal in the third quarter that ultimately sent the game into overtime.
