JMU Makes FCS Playoffs, Will Not Host

James Madison will head to Eastern Kentucky Saturday, November 26 for the opening round of the 2011 NCAA FCS Playoff.

Madison is one of five Colonial Athletic Association teams to make the tournament, the most of any conference.

The Dukes (7-4) will meet an Eastern Kentucky (7-4) team from the Ohio Valley Conference, that has won six of their last seven games.

Madison is in their first playoff tournament since 2008 and would potentially play five road games to win a championship.

JMU is one of eight teams in the 20 team field playing in a first round game. Their game is the only first round game to be on national television (ESPNU).

With a win, Madison would face the overall number two seed, North Dakota State, on the road a week from Saturday.

Here is the first round schedule. All first round games will take place Saturday, November 26th.

James Madison (7-4) at Eastern Kentucky (7-4), ESPNU and ESPN3 at Noon.

Albany (8-3) at Stony Brook (8-3), ESPN3

Central Arkansas (8-3) at Tennessee Tech (7-3), ESPN3
