Running back Scott Noble's football career at James Madison is over.
The rising senior has been dismissed from the team for academic reasons, head coach Mickey Matthews confirmed Tuesday morning.
Noble appeared in ten games for the Dukes in 2010, starting three. He was second on the team with 380 rushing yards, and scored three times. He was also tied for the team lead with 16 catches, for 134 yards.
Noble was suspended for the team's season opener against Morehead State for an undisclosed violation of team policy.
