JMU Loses Fourth in Past Five as Dukes Fall at Delaware

Davon Usher scored 34 points and Delaware defeated James Madison 81-65 on Wednesday night.

Usher scored 42 points in the Blue Hens' 20-point comeback win over the College of Charleston in their previous game, giving him a school-record 76 points for two games.

The victory was the Blue Hens' 13th straight, tying the second-longest streak in school history, and the 10th consecutive home victory for the Colonial Athletic Conference leaders (19-7, 11-0).

Carl Baptiste scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Delaware, which led 51-32 at halftime.

Andre Nation scored 17 points and Yohanny Dalembert 15 for the Dukes (9-17, 4-8), who were playing their third game in five days and have lost four out of their last five. Dalembert had 13 rebounds for his first career double-double.

There were five technical fouls in the game, four coming on two players from each team after a second-half skirmish.
