Four James Madison players scored in double figures as the Dukes downed Lenoir-Rhyne 79-45 in a preseason exhibition game played at the Convocation Center Sunday afternoon.
The Dukes led 42-25 at the half and outscored the Bears 37-20 in the second half.
JMU out-rebounded its opponent 57-30 and shot 46.5-percent (33-71) from the floor. Lenoir-Rhyne connected on just 20.8-percent (11-53) of its field goals and committed 18 turnovers to JMU's 17.
The Dukes open their regular season on Friday as it hosts Virginia at the Convocation Center. That game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip.
