JMU Headed Back to CAA Title Game

For the third year in a row, James Madison will play for the CAA tournament championship, after knocking off VCU 67-57 Saturday in the CAA semifinals in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Dawn Evans led four Dukes in double figures with 20 points. Tareek Hislop had 14 points, Courtney Hamner added 13 and Lauren Jimenez tossed in 11.

The Dukes outrebounded VCU 50-31 with Jimenez leading the way with a game high 15 boards. Lauren Whitehurst added ten.

Madison will play the winner of UNC-Wilmington and Delaware for the CAA championship Sunday, with an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament on the line.
