Litsa joined the WHSV news team in June 2011, and she's excited to call Harrisonburg her new home!
Her interest in journalism started in high school when she was the news editor of her school newspaper, "The Talon."
Litsa then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
She was able to learn more about the broadcast news industry when she interned at WHDH-TV in Boston, WPRI-12 in Providence, Rhode Island and at WSYR in Syracuse, New York.
Litsa loves learning new languages and can already speak French, Greek and some Italian after studying abroad in Florence, Italy for a semester. While abroad, she loved traveling around Europe and enjoyed living in Italy, where the Mediterranean culture was similar to her own Greek heritage.
Litsa grew up in Sharon, Massachusetts, just south of Boston. She's proud to be a Boston sports fan and looks forward to another championship for the city!
She enjoys traveling, photography, cooking, meeting new people and spending time with her friends and family. Litsa also loves trying new restaurants, so let her know where to go in The Valley!
