Jeff Williamson joined WHSV as the nightside video editor and photojournalist in September 2012.

In May 2012, Jeff graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism. While at Maryland, he provided play-by-play analysis and color commentary for women's soccer, men's basketball, men's lacrosse through the campus radio station, WMUC Sports. Throughout college Jeff interned with multiple news organizations, including: WTOP, USA TODAY, NBC Philadelphia and Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic.

Jeff is a Philadelphia area native and dutifully cheers for all his Philly teams. Besides watching and playing sports, Jeff enjoys working out, watching television, reading and exploring his new home of Harrisonburg.
