Nicole DiAntonio joined the WHSV news team in September 2013.
Nicole graduated from the University of Virginia. During her time in college, she interned at CBS19 for several years. She was given the opportunity to produce, shoot, edit, and report her own stories that aired on the evening news.
When she was not reporting stories for the local Charlottesville area, she also reported for the UVA media outlet, WUVAOnline. She covered stories ranging from the ousting of President Sullivan to a news story about sexual assaults that occur on college campuses.
During the summers, she was able to further her journalism experience through her internships at national organizations. Last summer, she interned at the Today Show. While there, she would research stories, conduct preliminary interviews, log taps, assist during shoots, select footage and shadow the reporters. The summer before, she had the opportunity to intern in the production department of Comedy Central. She was a part of all aspects of production from helping book the talent, setting a budget, planning transportation, and obtaining props and costumes.
Nicole is thrilled to be coming to the valley and sharing your stories!
