Sharra joined WHSV News 3 in June 2007 as a news editor/producer for the Web Channel, WHSV.com. Sharra graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism first with a BA in Broadcast News in 2003 and then with an MA in Convergence Journalism in 2006. On top of that, she has a BA in French. Sharra also happens to be the sixth member of her family to attend MU. Mizzou-Rah! While you won't often see her on air, Sharra has fingers on many things when it comes to the online version of WHSV News 3. She cuts news video for individual stories, captures and edits pictures, manages viewer-submitted pictures and videos, and edits most of the text versions reporters post of their stories online. Every now and then, you'll find a web special she wrote to add content on big issues or events. In her free time, Sharra loves to sing and listen to music, read, fold origami, watch movies and hang out. She has interests across the board including acting, dancing, art, literature, geology and history as well as many other topics and activities. She also loves watching the Tigers play football. Go Tigers!
