Yuna joined the WHSV News 3 Team in August 2008 as a News Reporter. She began her journalism career as a News Anchor/Reporter at 1140 WRVA Richmond and the Virginia News Network. Yuna also worked at WPBF News 25 West Palm Beach as the On-Air Traffic Reporter. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature.
It is important for Yuna to help others. She supports several charities including the Salvation Army, the Stone Circle of Friends (in search of a cure for Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy), Mytonic Dystrophy Foundation and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
When she is not gathering news stories, Yuna enjoys exploring Virginia, dining at local restaurants, spending quality time with loved ones, playing the piano and violin, reading, watching trials in courtrooms, musicals, watching football and basketball, laughing, and traveling.
Yuna loves hearing from you! Story ideas and reviews of your favorite local restaurants are especially appreciated!
