Ed joined the Daybreak team as the morning news reporter in February, 2009. He comes to WHSV from New York City, where he worked as a Web Reporter/Producer for FOX 5 WNYW – TV. Ed was first exposed to fast-paced television news in 2007, when he served as an intern at WABC-TV in New York. He's interviewed notable politicians--Sen. Charles Schumer, Mitt Romney, Howard Dean, Mayor Michael Bloomberg--and filed reports from the final 2008 Presidential Debate at Hofstra University on Long Island.

A 2008 graduate of the State University of New York College at Oneonta, Ed wrote for his school's newspaper and anchored the school's student-run newscast. He is a brother of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the national Communication Arts Honor Society.

Ed enjoys reading the New York Times and other news magazines. He likes local coffee houses, foreign cuisine and exploring the Shenandoah Valley.
