Lorilee joined the WHSV-TV3 family in February of 2007. She comes to the valley from New York City where she worked as a desk assistant for CBS Radio Network News. Lorilee was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in telecommunication from the University of Florida in December of 2006. In Gainesville, Lorilee was active at WRUF-FM as an in-depth reporter and at WUFT-FM as a newscaster and host of All Things Considered. She also contributed to WUFT-TV as a reporter, weather forecaster and anchor. During her last semester of college, Lorilee interned at CBS Radio in New York. While she was there she reported on the 9-11 five-year anniversary from ground zero for her former station, WRUF - AM, in Gainesville, FL. She also attended the Tony of Excellence awards where she interviewed Broadway stars including Cynthia Nixon and Angela Lansbury. Lorilee especially enjoys tackling environmental issues. One of her favorite stories concerned off-shore drilling in Florida where she conducted a one and one interview with Florida Senator Bill Nelson. In her spare time, Lorilee enjoys exploring her new city and cheering on her Florida Gators!
