Daren Stoltzfus is the Sports Director for WHSV News 3.

Daren grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee and attended college at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He graduated in May of 2010, earning a degree in Journalism and Electronic Media.

While in college, Daren began his career in television at the student television station on campus, The Volunteer Channel. He eventually served as the Sports Director and President of the station. Daren also worked with ESPNU as a student reporter, appearing on national television several times while still a student. Daren interned at his hometown newspaper, The Johnson City Press and at WJHL, the local CBS affiliate.

Daren enjoys playing and watching sports, reading, traveling, going to sporting events and is a huge movie buff. Feel free to say hello if you see him around the Valley! And as always, GO VOLS!
