Aubrey is originally from Wallingford, Connecticut, but she moved to the Shenandoah Valley after living in Johnson City, TN.
Aubrey attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City and received Bachelor of Geosciences from Mississippi State with a concentration in Broadcast Meteorology.
While working for Chili's for 12 years she had the opportunity to travel for many years not just across the U.S., but outside of the country training and opening up new restaurants. It was after being caught in 6 hurricanes during 2004 and 2005 while working for Chili's that Aubrey found her calling into weather. She pursued her degree while living in Johnson City, TN and interned at WJHL in the Tri-Cities. In addition to reporting on flooding, wildfires and the Virginia earthquake, Aubrey has covered major weather events in the Valley like the tornado outbreak in April of 2011, and the snowstorm of March 5th-6th of 2013.
Aubrey produces her own weather segment on Monday night's called Weather Questions with Aubrey which airs on the Valley's Fox News at 10p.m.
She has also recently become a panelist on a weather podcast called Weather Brains, which airs live on Monday nights and can also be downloaded. It's a weather podcast all about weather, for those who love to talk about the weather.
She is also a member of the National Weather Association. Aubrey loves everything the Shenandoah Valley has to offer, and hiking in the Shenandoah National Park is one of her favorite things to do in the Valley.
