Josh joined the WHSV TV 3 news team as a meteorologist and reporter in July of 2009. He graduated from the University of Miami with a double major in Meteorology and Broadcast Journalism.
Originally from Baltimore, Josh’s fascination with weather began at a young age with the rapidly changing weather patterns in the Mid-Atlantic region. Even in 4th grade, Josh was the friend everyone could count on for their weather forecast. Now after years of summer and beaches in Miami he is very excited to come back to four seasons and the exciting mountainous terrain of the Shenandoah Valley.
While in Miami, Josh interned in the weather departments at WTVJ and WFOR, the local NBC and CBS stations. He also forecasted and reported for NewsVision, University of Miami’s award winning student run newscast, and was heavily involved with athletics at The U – GO CANES!!
In his spare time, Josh loves running with his dog named Dollar, cooking up new recipes, laughing with friends and family, and meeting new people – so feel free to email him with story ideas or weather questions!
