Tracy Turner joined WHSV – TV 3 and the First Alert Storm Team in September 2007 as the Noon, 5pm and 5:30pm meteorologist. Tracy arrived from KSPR – TV in Springfield, MO where she was the Chief Meteorologist. She received her broadcast journalism degree from the University of Idaho and is still and avid Vandals fan, despite their team ranking.

After several years on the news side of television, Tracy decided to pursue her interest in weather and earned her degree in meteorology.

For more than a decade, Tracy has worked at several different stations across the country, finally making her home in the Shenandoah Valley. "I couldn't imagine a more beautiful place to live, and the people are so friendly!" said Tracy.

When Tracy isn't at work, she's watching the skies from the tennis court, the ski hill or just enjoying the outdoors.
