Just sign up at Harrisonburg Auto Mall (Honda, Mitsubishi, or Hyundai), then watch WHSV Daybreak each morning to see if we correctly predicted the previous day's high temperature within 3 degrees.  When we guess right, you Win!  
Daily winners receive a Weather Center mouse pad courtesy of TV-3 and Harrisonburg Auto Mall.  Daily winners may pick up prizes at the WHSV studios in Harrisonburg at 50 North Main Street during normal business hours M-F 8am to 5pm.  Plus, as a Daily winner, you will be in the running to be a Monthly Winner for a 3-Degree Prize Pack from Harrisonburg Auto Mall.  Monthly winners can receive their prize pack at Harrisonburg Honda at 2885 South Main Street.
Best of all, everyone who enters the contest, and is an eligible contestant, will be in the running for a chance to win the 3-Degree Grand Prize – A two-year lease of a brand new 2007 car from Harrisonburg Auto Mall!!!*

WHSV-TV3 “3-DEGREE GUARANTEE” OFFICIAL RULES:
1. Beginning on, or about, July 1, 2006, persons wanting to register for the “3-Degree Guarantee” contest prizes can register at Harrisonburg Auto Mall (Honda, Mitsubishi, or Hyundai). Contest registration ends on, or about, June 30, 2007.
2. To enter, contestants must be 18 years of age and live in the WHSV-TV viewing area. Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate or win a prize: (a) a person who, since January 1, 2003, has been an employee or agent of Harrisonburg Honda, Mitsubishi, or Hyundai, WHSV-TV, or their parent companies, affiliates, or subsidiaries; or the service agencies or independent contractors of any of the above organizations; (b) individual engaged in the development of the production or distribution of materials for, or the implementation of this contest; and (c) employees of, persons in the immediate family of, or persons living in the same household as any person in any of the preceding categories.
3. By submitting a contest registration form, contestant agrees to the use of his/her name and/or likeness on WHSV broadcasts or materials for any purpose WHSV sees fit, including promotion of “3-Degree Guarantee.”
4. By submitting a contest registration form, contestant releases and agrees to hold harmless WHSV-TV, Harrisonburg Honda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, their respective parent companies, distributors, affiliates, and subsidiaries, and the service agencies and independent contractors of any of the above organizations; and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agencies, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability for any injuries included but not limited to, personal injury, bodily injury (including, without limitation, wrongful death), property damage, or loss of damage of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from delivery/non-delivery, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize or from participation in this contest. Winners agree to accept any prize as is, with all faults; sponsor makes no warranties, expressed or implied, as to the quality or condition of the prizes and expressly disclaims any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. WHSV-TV’s Daybreak newscasts will feature a daily segment, for the duration of the contest, during which WHSV on-air talent will give a “guaranteed” high temperature, for a location determined by WHSV, for that day, with the guarantee being solely and exclusively linked to this contest.
6. If a daily “guaranteed” high temperature is within three degrees, once that day’s high temperature has been reached and recorded, a daily winner will be announced the following day on WHSV Daybreak News.
7. All decisions regarding the location of temperature reading and recording are at the sole discretion of WHSV-TV and are final.

8. Daily winners receive a mouse pad from WHSV TV-3.  Daily winners’ entry forms will be used in a random drawing for a monthly prize to be given at the end of every month for the duration of the contest.  Monthly prizes will be determined at the end of each month, but are not limited to, service and merchandise gift certificates at Harrisonburg Auto Mall. Monthly prizes will not be of any promised value, brand name, or other distinguishing character.  Monthly prizes given are at the sole discretion of WHSV-TV and Harrisonburg Honda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai.
9. All entries will also be placed in a random drawing for the grand prize (1) to be awarded on, or about, July 4, 2007.
*10. The grand prize is a two-year lease of a 2007 automobile, with the automobile to be determined no later than one week prior to the grand prize drawing.  Only one grand prize will be awarded by Harrisonburg Honda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai.  Grand prize winner will be responsible for all costs outside the value of the two-year lease, including tax, tags, title, and any other fees or costs outside the actual value of the lease.
11. The Grand Prize is not promised to be of any particular style or color. The particular car awarded to the grand prize winner is at the sole discretion of Harrisonburg Honda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai.
