A 39-year-old Virginia Beach woman faces charges after police there say she used MySpace to solicit sex from the 15-year-old son of a family friend.

Jennifer Lawson is charged with indecent liberties, use of a communication device to solicit a minor, distributing marijuana to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police say the boy's mother contacted them last Friday to report explicit messages she found her son exchanging with the woman on the MySpace social networking site.

Investigators later confirmed Lawson's identity, and determined she had provided alcohol and marijuana to him, as well as asking him to have sex with her.

Police arrested Lawson this week. She's being held without bond at the Virginia Beach Correctional Center.
